MLA Works Cited

Modern Language Association (MLA) provides guidelines on formatting and citing sources when you are writing. This page contains directions on creating your Works Cited page(s).

Works Cited: How to create Works Cited entries

First determine what type of source you are citing– entire book, chapter from a book, article from a magazine, journal or newspaper (printed or from a database), or website.

Find that section of this handout and fill in the appropriate information in the same order, using the same punctuation, and the same formatting as indicated on the handout.
