Encyclopedias

Encyclopedias have long been a one-stop-shop for information on a WIDE variety of subjects. Many families used to have these as sets of books that were sort of the “early Google” because they were the one place for families to find information on lots of subjects. (I know, the old days were rough, right?) Modern electronic encyclopedias have evolved to include not only print descriptions of topics, but also audio and video clips as well as links to additional online sources. These encyclopedias are often a great place to start when you don’t know much about your topic and need a way to orient yourself.
